I love/cherish/adore hummingbirds. I have a habit of making up hummingbirds every once in a while, mostly to practice iridescence. None of them come even close to the beauty of the real birds.

Finished commission for Psychopomp16 (on DA) of her character Io. Did this one on 9" X 12" bristol with prismacolor markers and a tad of colored pencil. I think my favorite part of this is the wings, since I used nambroths wing tutorial to get the feather layering as correct as I could. I'm sure I didn't get everything correct, but I think her tutorial made a big difference for me. This is a long running character of mine named Kathleen the Blade, she has a certain romance with that sword of hers. This was an older character design of her before I modified her so that she had a katanna instead of a longsword.
